Drivers need an unobstructed path for emptying the carts.

Any recyclables left in the carts will be dumped as trash.Ĭarts must be at the curb before 7 a.m., as the collection routes are being adjusted because of the extra trash to be collected. Current recycling customers should set their recycling carts at the curb on their normal pickup day so that City staff can convert the cart lids.

Summer residents may receive a temporary sticker at the Selectmen's Office.Įast Kingston, Kingston and South Hampton residents may use the Newton Transfer Station for the drop off of bulk items on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 12pm-6:45pm Saturdays from 8am-4:45pm and Sunday from 9am to 3:45pm.As of May 2, 2022, the City’s curbside recycling service is suspended. Proof of residency is either your original purchase and sales agreement or a current Newton vehicle registration.

Stickers are available at the Town Clerks office located at Town Hall and you must show proof of residency.
